God is Just - Romans 3:25-26
25 God presented Jesus as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his patience he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Questions
1. When do you want God to be merciful, and when do you want him to be just?
2. How does God demonstrate his mercy, grace, and justice perfectly in this passage?
3. What part do we play in our own salvation?
Prayer
Give thanks for God being the prime initiator of our faith and for his justice made known in Jesus.
